Sr Director/Director Corporate Revenue Recognition

Location: Westminster, Colorado or Sunnyvale, California, onsite four days weekly. Travel requirement: 10%.

Salary: $189,900–$261,100 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead revenue accounting strategy across multiple business areas and advise on complex global transactions.
• Partner with global sales leaders to structure transactions and innovative sales programs.
• Lead revenue integration for strategic acquisitions, including order-to-cash processes and customer relationship roadmaps.
• Prepare technical accounting whitepapers for complex revenue positions and communicate with senior leadership and external auditors.
• Drive process efficiency projects and implement revenue automation systems.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in public and industry accounting.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Active or inactive CPA license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience translating complex technical accounting concepts for executive stakeholders.
• Track record of managing large-scale projects and motivating cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with M&A integration and financial system implementations.
• Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, Oracle, RevPro, Domo, or AI-driven financial tools.
