What you will do

• Ensure internal and external accounting and reporting comply with GAAP and IFRS, including SEC and other regulatory reporting.
• Oversee technical accounting research and decisions, with a concentration on revenue recognition and monitoring relevant FASB proposals.
• Run operational controllership by improving accounting procedures, standardizing the close process, and guiding entity setup and consolidated financial statements.
• Lead financial shared services operations across AP, AR/collections, order entry/invoicing, general ledger, payroll, and incentive compensation (including outsourced resources).
• Develop and manage a global accounting organization, including training, mentoring, staffing, and recruiting for required skill sets.
• Own internal controls and coordinate annual audits with independent auditors, including reporting to the Audit Committee; drive financial systems strategy and transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA preferred.
• CPA required.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including Big 4 public accounting experience, experience at a public company, and supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial disclosure requirements; SEC/public company reporting experience required.
• Technology industry experience with strong revenue recognition expertise.
• Proven ability to run a complex, multi-site accounting organization.
