What you will do
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures across AMAT, Ulvac, Gasonics, Fusion Gemini, and LAM dry etch tools.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to standardized work documents.
- Use SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection and Classification data to evaluate tool performance and diagnose issues.
- Document maintenance activities and improve standardized procedures for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Maintain spare-parts inventory and coordinate equipment downtime with Manufacturing Leads.
- Support equipment upgrades, long-down troubleshooting, wafer recoveries, and post-maintenance qualification tasks.
Requirements
- Associateβs degree or higher in engineering or a science discipline, or at least 7 years of NXP or affiliate experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Experience with advanced electronics, installation, repair, operation, and troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and complex drawings or diagrams.
- Strong analytical problem-solving, testing, data analysis, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
