Location: New York, New York, United States; work from the office 4 days a week

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead a high-performing engineering team and foster a healthy, collaborative, and diverse culture.
• Coach and mentor engineers, support career development, and partner with recruiting on hiring and onboarding.
• Own execution and delivery of the product roadmap with the Product Manager, including systems supporting critical customer workflows and third-party integrations.
• Run an agile engineering process and collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and partner teams.
• Guide the team through complex technical problems and prioritize strategic technology investments.
• Contribute to system design, architectural oversight, and code reviews while maintaining high engineering standards.

Requirements

• Experience leading software teams using agile development methodologies.
• Strong technical background building, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications, services, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with business-critical systems where reliability, performance, and operational stability are essential.
• Ability to recruit, develop, coach, and mentor engineering talent.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage technical tradeoffs, risks, and alignment with product and business goals.
• Interest in building AI-backed features and using AI as an engineering productivity tool.
