Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Remote from the United Kingdom, Ireland, or Poland

Compensation: £94K–£141K in the United Kingdom; €140K–€210K in Ireland; PLN 475K–PLN 713K in Poland, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead and grow an engineering team within the Agentic Engineering organization.
• Set technical direction for the agent harness, integrations, and developer workflows.
• Contribute to architecture and implementation decisions while remaining hands-on with the code.
• Evolve agent execution, tool use, context management, streaming, and long-running workflows.
• Improve reliability, performance, and operability across agentic systems.
• Partner with Product and Design to turn agent capabilities into useful developer experiences.

Requirements

• Experience managing and growing software engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on engineering experience with Go, plus experience with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building systems around LLMs and agentic workflows, including model APIs, tool calling, context management, or agent loops.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and working knowledge of AWS.
• Technical judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and a track record of helping engineers grow while maintaining a high execution bar.

Nice to have

• Experience building coding agents, developer tools, or cloud development environments.
• Experience with MCP, agent tools, multi-agent systems, remote execution, sandboxing, or isolated compute.
• Experience building abstractions across multiple model providers.
• Deep experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, or Linux.
• Open-source contributions or experience working directly with customers.
