Senior Java Developer (Java)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test J2EE and Java applications for the Defense Health portfolio.
• Build SOAP and REST web services, reusable components, and message-oriented integration solutions.
• Participate in peer reviews, automated unit testing, acceptance testing, load testing, and troubleshooting.
• Apply development standards and best practices within an agile, incrementally delivered SDLC.
• Collaborate with developers, QA specialists, and management on feature delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of overall development experience analyzing, designing, and implementing integration solutions.
• At least 2 years of experience with Java, XML/XSLT/WSDL, Spring/Hibernate, SOAP and REST web services, and SOA.
• Experience with message-oriented Java integration, Git-based change management, and JUnit testing.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
