Senior Java Backend Developer (J2EE, Docker) (4 to 6 Years) - Pune/Bangalore

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, design, code, and debug complex Java and J2EE application systems.
• Translate business problems into fast and efficient technical solutions with Business Analysts.
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.
• Perform peer code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Build and maintain reusable components and services for payment processing systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with J2EE technologies and a degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, collections, concurrency, JDBC, J2EE, ANSI SQL, XML, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, EJB, JMS, and unit and integration testing.
• Experience with Oracle or DB2 databases, Maven or Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with web technologies, application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss, and Linux.
• Knowledge of Git, SVN, Jenkins, JIRA, debugging tools, SOAP UI, Postman, and related industry-standard tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Production support and maintenance experience.
