Technical Product Owner (Fintech)

hirify.global is an early-stage payments-as-a-service fintech startup building embedded payment solutions for vertically focused software platforms.

What you will do

• Own product initiatives and releases by defining, documenting, and communicating goals, requirements, and constraints.
• Translate product strategy into functional and technical requirements, product stories, and user stories for engineering teams.
• Partner with Risk and Experience engineering teams to deliver embedded payments products into production at scale.
• Build integrations, dashboards, and automations for merchant underwriting, onboarding, credit risk, and fraud monitoring.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, write technical documentation, and support agile meetings.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, risk operations, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of payment processing or PayFac operations, especially KYC/KYB, underwriting, transaction monitoring, fraud detection and remediation, and credit risk scoring.
• Experience with risk automation, including automated scoring, machine learning, data gathering, pipelines, and remediation.
• Experience with roadmaps, product vision and strategy, product market research, requirements gathering, documentation, and user stories.
• Strong understanding of agile Scrum teams, continuous deployment, technical visualization and prototyping, organization, communication, and quantitative analysis.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
