Sr. Product Manager, Risk (Fintech)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; hybrid work with in-office collaboration and remote flexibility

Salary: $195,000–$215,000 annual base salary plus equity

What you will do

• Own the identity and fraud platform end to end, including KYC, KYB, identity verification, and fraud detection.
• Define the strategy and roadmap for risk infrastructure, technologies, and operational processes.
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science to develop a test-driven machine learning strategy for risk mitigation.
• Use transaction-level data and fraud signals to identify opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Gather customer and partner feedback and deliver effective risk tools across mobile apps, web apps, APIs, and other product areas.
• Lead the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and ongoing success measurement.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and scaling successful mobile and web products in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience across identity, KYC, KYB, vendor management, and fraud detection.
• Strong understanding of fraud patterns in e-commerce or fintech products.
• Data-savvy approach with SQL skills and experience conducting deep dives into emerging fraud trends.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity, synthesize complex information, write clear requirements, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
