Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, Personal Loans (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work model with in-office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote placement is not considered. Primarily Pacific Time, with flexibility to work across time zones when necessary. Relocation may be offered based on job level.

Salary: $156,000–$180,000 target annual base salary, plus potential equity and annual bonus.

What you will do

• Own strategy and performance for critical external partners, including business reviews, escalations, governance, and long-term planning.
• Set direction for partner initiatives affecting growth, credit performance, member experience, and compliance.
• Evaluate proposals involving decisioning, verification, data sharing, and technical integration, and determine priorities.
• Build business cases measuring impacts on approvals, conversion, fraud, losses, and costs.
• Lead cross-functional execution with Product, Engineering, Credit, Risk, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Analytics.
• Define business requirements, KPIs, technical specifications, partner reporting, decision rights, control points, and data-sharing boundaries, using AI to accelerate analysis.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in lending partnerships, product management, or analytics within consumer lending, fintech, or banking.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep experience with personal loan product management or consumer credit decisioning platforms, including ownership of the funnel from pre-screen through funding.
• Strong judgment in ambiguous situations, excellent communication skills, and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and collaborate effectively with Engineering.
• Working fluency with APIs, data flows, technical integrations, data governance, third-party data-sharing risk, and practical AI use.

• Experience with unsecured personal loans or adjacent consumer credit products.
• Experience managing pre-screen or direct mail programs.
