UI Product Designer (AI)

Location: Cambridge, MA with hybrid attendance three days per week in Harvard Square, or remote in the EU

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annual base depending on experience, plus bonus, equity, and full benefits. EU compensation is benchmarked to the local market.

hirify.global builds an AI operating system for wholesale distribution, combining CRM, PIM, eCommerce AI, and Order & Quote Entry AI on a unified data layer.

What you will do

• Design and ship modern, high-performance interfaces for distribution workflows.
• Prototype interactions in code using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI tools before committing to polished designs.
• Own the visual language and design system across four products, including components, interactions, documentation, and adoption by product squads.
• Define interaction patterns for AI agents, including user trust, correction, and handoff.
• Work with product managers and engineers in an agentic scrum model.
• Conduct frequent onsite customer observation with distributors in warehouses and on sales floors.

Requirements

• Demonstrated command of typography, layout, color, hierarchy, iconography, and purposeful motion.
• End-to-end experience taking products or features from concept to launch with real users and ownership alongside product and engineering.
• Daily hands-on use of Claude Code, Cursor, or an equivalent AI tool to ship real design work.
• A portfolio showing ownership of visual language and workflow redesign from concept through launch.
• Systems thinking, including the ability to define design rules for consistent product development.
• Experience with traditional agile or Scrum practices and a strong preference for direct customer interaction.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex B2B, enterprise, or ERP-adjacent software and high-frequency workflows.
• Experience designing agentic products and human-agent trust, correction, or handoff patterns.
• Experience at an early-stage SaaS startup.
