Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid at hirify.global's Seattle HQ, United States.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design intuitive experiences for configuring, managing, and using Read across organizations.
• Simplify complex settings, permissions, administrative workflows, and information-dense interfaces.
• Improve information architecture, navigation, interaction patterns, and consistency across enterprise experiences.
• Design clear actions, permissions, system states, feedback, error handling, and recovery experiences for different user needs.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and other designers to turn complex requirements into intuitive solutions.
• Prototype, deliver, and refine high-quality experiences from exploration through implementation and launch.

Requirements

• Experience designing and shipping digital products, with a portfolio demonstrating strong interaction and visual design craft.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows and information-heavy interfaces without losing important functionality.
• Strong information architecture skills for organizing settings, navigation, and content around user needs.
• Experience designing beyond the happy path, including different user states, permissions, errors, and recovery paths.
• Systems thinking and an eye for consistency across related product experiences.
• Ability to independently own well-scoped product initiatives from exploration through implementation.
• Sound product judgment, including exploring alternatives, explaining trade-offs, and making thoughtful recommendations.
• Strong partnership with Product and Engineering, including comfort working through technical constraints.
• Experience using research, customer feedback, or product data to inform design decisions; ability to prototype interactions for evaluating how experiences work.
• Fluency with AI-assisted design tools, curiosity about new ways to improve design quality and speed, collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and commitment to improving craft.

Nice to have

• Experience designing B2B SaaS, enterprise, or productivity software.
• Experience with administrative tools, permissions, account management, or configuration workflows.
• Familiarity with identity management, provisioning, or enterprise security concepts.
• Experience working with design systems across complex products.
• Experience designing collaboration or multi-user experiences.
• Direct enterprise-software experience is not required.
