Staff Product Designer (Grant OS)

Location: Remote in the USA or Canada

Salary: $210,000–$245,000 annual base for US-based candidates, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for GrantOS Platform and Core, from discovery and research through shipping and iteration.
• Shape platform experiences for task management, reporting, integrations, and grant-lifecycle data relationships.
• Drive zero-to-one product development in greenfield and ambiguous problem spaces.
• Define interaction patterns and design-system foundations used across product areas.
• Conduct and synthesize user research and translate ambiguous needs into product direction.
• Partner strategically with product management, engineering, and go-to-market teams while coaching designers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience, including meaningful time at senior or staff level.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, especially complex or enterprise-adjacent systems.
• Track record of owning complex B2B product areas end-to-end, including multi-entity workflows involving data relationships, user roles, and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience owning zero-to-one products by starting from a problem rather than a specification and making decisions under uncertainty.
• Experience with agentic or AI-powered product surfaces and current use of AI tools in design practice.
• Strong systems thinking, Figma and prototyping skills, deep user-research involvement from planning through synthesis, and ability to influence product vision.

• Experience defining design-system patterns.
• Exposure to compliance, data integrity, or workflow-heavy domains.
• Experience mentoring or coaching designers.
• Familiarity with the nonprofit or social-impact sector.
