Founding Product Designer (AI)

hirify.global is an AI research lab developing NEXUS, a Large Tabular Model for enterprise decision-making and AI-powered business products.

What you will do

• Establish product design principles, processes, standards, and discovery practices across hirify.global.
• Research technical users through interviews, usability testing, product usage analysis, and direct conversations.
• Build and maintain an AI-native design system covering UI kits, reusable components, interaction patterns, prompt and response patterns, agent behaviors, and style guides.
• Lead end-to-end design for predictive AI/ML, generative AI, platform, and agentic product experiences.
• Design how users guide agents, understand progress, review work, provide input, and remain in control.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and AI teams from concept exploration and prototyping through implementation, preserving usability, accessibility, performance, and design quality.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing technical products, including complex enterprise B2B software, technical web applications, enterprise platforms, or developer tools.
• 1–2 years of experience designing human-in-the-loop agentic experiences across CLI, API, and graphical interfaces.
• Practical AI and ML domain expertise, including understanding of AI/ML workflows, users, and the challenges of making these systems understandable and controllable.
• Experience solving complex design problems while balancing usability, technical feasibility, performance, and business priorities.
• Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and product discovery with technical users.
• Ability to shape design strategy, influence product decisions, and collaborate effectively with Product and Engineering.
• Judgment and autonomy to identify user needs, frame ambiguous problems, and move from early exploration to shipped experiences.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong interaction design, systems thinking, visual execution, and measurable product impact.
• Experience designing cohesive experiences across code and graphical interfaces, including agents, CLI, API, UI, developer tools, documentation, system feedback, and transitions between surfaces.

• Experience mentoring designers or strengthening product-design practices.
