Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with 1–3 days in the office depending on the role and team, plus up to 20 days of international working.

Group operates a technology-enabled consumer business and is building a scalable, service-led People Operations function.
What you will do
- Lead continuous improvement across People Operations and transform reactive administration into proactive, service-led delivery.
- Design and optimise scalable end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, documentation, service standards, SLAs, KPIs, and quality measures.
- Oversee global payroll operations, improving administration, financial controls, data controls, and collaboration with Payroll and Finance.
- Maintain HR governance, compliance, audit readiness, policies, compensation and benefits processes, and international mobility including visa applications and renewals.
- Optimise HR systems through enhancements, integrations, automation, data governance, reporting, and AI-enabled efficiency improvements.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing People Operations team while partnering with People, Finance, Legal, and Technology stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience as a People Lead, People Operations Manager, HR Operations Manager, or Shared Services Manager.
- Strong experience in People Operations, HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or employee lifecycle-focused environments.
- Proven ability to design, simplify, and implement scalable People processes and service delivery models.
- Deep understanding of HR governance, compliance, audit readiness, employee relations, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Hands-on experience managing global payroll and payroll administration processes.
- Experience leading small teams, improving HR systems and reporting, and managing stakeholders with accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.
