Presales Solutions Engineer - Data Security

Location: US - Remote; occasional reporting to the Austin, Texas office may be required, and travel to client, partner, conference, and hirify.global office locations is required up to 20%.

Estimated annual pay range: $120,000–$230,000, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Advise customers and collaborate with CIO, CSO, CISO, security engineering, and procurement stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver security services and offerings for customer opportunities.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key technologies.
• Develop cybersecurity sales collateral, use cases, and laboratory demonstrations.
• Track security technologies, market trends, and industry developments through research and self-study.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years of experience in security presales consulting.
• Intermediate understanding of NIST, HITRUST, CIS, and similar security frameworks.
• Technical knowledge of identity governance and security solutions including DLP, CASB, SWG, DSPM, USB control, file encryption, and ransomware recovery.
• Expertise with technologies such as Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal, Rubrik, Varonis, Sentra, and Cohesity.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience; advanced cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
