Lead Cyber Risk Solutions Advisor (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, Texas, United States

Salary: $155,000–$175,000 per year in base compensation, excluding incentive compensation and potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Continuously monitor and analyze customer vulnerability and asset risk data using the hirify.global TruRisk Platform.
• Research threat intelligence, vulnerability disclosures, and exploit activity to assess relevance and customer impact.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive briefings on cyber risk trends and priorities.
• Track remediation progress and recommend actions to accelerate risk reduction.
• Participate in operational cadence calls, vulnerability posture reviews, and ad hoc investigations.
• Identify emerging issues, escalate high-risk findings, improve playbooks and service processes, and support onboarding of customer environments.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, or threat analysis.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, CVEs, CVSS, and exploitability metrics.
• Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills with the ability to work with complex datasets.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and CIS Controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder presentations.
• Experience with vulnerability management, CNAPP, application security, or cyber threat exposure management platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SOC, MSSP, or cyber advisory function.
• Familiarity with Python or SQL.
• Interest in cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, GSNA, Security+, GSEC, GCIA, GMON, or hirify.global VMDR Specialist.
