What you will do

• Lead technical strategy for HPE cybersecurity and SASE portfolios, collaborating with DoD and Federal sales teams.
• Architect large-scale SASE and SSE solutions (ZTNA, SWG, CASB, FWaaS) aligned with NIST and OMB directives.
• Guide customers through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) for IL5 and IL6 environments.
• Lead multi-domain discovery sessions and architectural workshops to solve complex federal networking and security challenges.
• Design and execute advanced product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
• Author and review high-impact RFI and RFP responses to ensure architectural integrity and technical differentiation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or solution architecture within cybersecurity or network security domains.
• Expertise in SASE, SSE, and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Deep knowledge of federal frameworks including NIST SP 800-207, RMF, STIG compliance, and FedRAMP/DoD IL5/IL6.
• Proficiency in core networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and identity frameworks (SSO, SAML, OAuth).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent military technical leadership experience.
