Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temporary Position) (MedTech)

Salary: $30.00–$41.00 per hour

What you will do

• Verify and post customer payments while maintaining accurate accounts receivable records.
• Conduct collection procedures for delinquent accounts and issue customer account statements.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies, including preparing and reviewing credit memorandums.
• Support monthly general ledger close through reconciliations and collectability assessments.
• Prepare vendor forms and collect tax-exempt certificates from customers.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service while following quality, security, privacy, and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field with 3+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in accounts receivable, accounting records, collections, and reconciliations.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard office tools.
• Willingness and ability to work on site in Alameda, California.

Nice to have

• SAP experience.
• Accounts receivable experience in a manufacturing environment.
