Tech Lead (Angular), New York

Salary: $190,000–$230,000 per year for senior to leadership level, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the design and build of user experiences using Angular and modern web development technologies.
• Manage UI engineering teams and coordinate delivery with client stakeholders and other contributors.
• Act as a hands-on frontend engineer and architect across initiatives ranging from small improvements to complex systems.
• Build client relationships as a strategic technology advisor and contribute to follow-on consulting opportunities.
• Support business development pitches, solution presentations, engagement definition, and industry networking.
• Help develop management practices, career planning, and professional growth across the engineering practice.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and building complex commercial-grade software applications.
• 5+ years leading Agile teams, with a proven record of leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Experience managing project teams and working directly with clients in finance, consulting, or startup environments.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience, especially with Angular or comparable modern frameworks.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms and contemporary software delivery practices, including continuous delivery.
• Strong understanding of testing, quality, continuous integration, source control, and code reviews.

Nice to have

• Capital markets, financial markets, or consulting experience.
• Backend engineering experience with .NET, Java, or Python.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Symphony, Salesforce, Databricks, or similar financial-sector tools.
