Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: U.S. Remote

Salary: $138K–$160K base salary, plus equity and bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Design and develop a cross-browser web extension using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate the extension with REST-based backend microservices and contribute to frontend architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with product management, UX, and engineering teams using Scrum processes.
• Implement coding standards, testing, linting, documentation, and software development lifecycle practices.
• Investigate and resolve complex development and production issues while improving application performance.
• Review code, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Expert-level React and ecosystem knowledge, including React Query, Hooks, and Context.
• Strong JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript skills.
• Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, accessibility including ARIA, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with REST integrations, design patterns, SOLID principles, modern build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Testing experience across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, plus version control and full software development lifecycle experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future US work authorization sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience building browser extensions for Chrome or Firefox.
• Experience with C#/.NET, Azure DevOps pipelines, YAML, or web-based security principles.
