Senior Software Engineer (Frontend, Angular)

Location: Remote USA; Chicago preferred. Remote or hybrid work is available, with occasional travel for team onsites and company events.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus variable compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and deliver modular, reusable UI components with TypeScript, Angular, and modern frontend tools.
• Build comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end test coverage using tools such as Cypress and Jest.
• Integrate AI capabilities and automated developer workflows into product experiences and engineering delivery.
• Monitor and optimize web performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and UI reliability using WCAG 2.1 standards and Datadog dashboards and logs.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, QA, and Backend teams in an Agile environment to deliver customer-facing features.
• Lead code reviews, mentor earlier-career engineers, and maintain architectural documentation and technical specifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience delivering complex enterprise production applications.
• Advanced TypeScript and Angular proficiency, or strong experience with a modern component-based framework such as React or Vue.
• Experience writing testable code and building unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
• Practical experience using AI tools, LLMs, or automated coding assistants to improve development velocity and code reliability.
• Strong knowledge of web performance optimization, responsive design, and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
• Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid environment and travel occasionally for team onsites and company events.

Nice to have

• Experience building enterprise B2B SaaS products, especially in GRC, security, or data-intensive analytics.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI, Webpack bundling optimization, and Datadog Real User Monitoring.
