Assistant General Manager

Location: Los Angeles - 808 Wilshire Blvd (Santa Monica); on-site

Annual base compensation: $80,000–$90,000, plus bonus opportunities of up to $14,000 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee operations across 3–5 locations and directly manage 1–3 Member Experience Managers.
• Manage membership contract renewals and support ongoing member commitments.
• Hire, coach, and develop team members while building a culture of hospitality and operational excellence.
• Support sales, negotiations, local marketing, public relations requests, and challenging member relations issues.
• Partner with General Managers, marketing, sales, and centralized operations teams to launch new locations and improve area performance.
• Analyze performance metrics including Net Promoter Score, revenue, profit, hospitality standards, and operational consistency.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in multi-site operations management in hospitality, food and beverage, retail, coworking, or another customer-facing industry.
• Strong P&L and financial management skills.
• Proven people management and coaching experience in a multi-site environment.
• Passion for hospitality and exceptional customer experiences.
• Experience leading local marketing and sales initiatives, plus strong communication skills for handling difficult conversations.
• Willingness to travel to each location as needed.
