Distinguished Engineer - Mid Market (Fintech)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $316,000–$427,000 per year, with potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead core technology strategy and architecture for Mid Market’s top initiatives.
• Shape platform capabilities across accounting, financial management, payments, and workflow automation.
• Identify technology gaps and opportunities, establishing vision, direction, and strategy.
• Drive architectural approaches across multiple engineering teams, systems, and offerings.
• Partner with technology leadership to deliver Mid Market business outcomes.
• Act as a talent steward and role model inclusive leadership across hirify.global.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing and leading architecture for web, software, or mobile applications.
• Experience with cloud and SaaS platforms, modern technology stacks, API strategies, microservices, public cloud, and programming languages.
• Demonstrated executive-level communication, strategic influence, coaching, and leadership across teams and organizations.
• Experience launching business and product strategies and driving multi-year roadmaps.
• Expertise in Agile Development, Scrum, or Extreme Programming methodologies.
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience, with significant design and architecture experience.

• Experience or familiarity with fintech and/or SaaS platform industries.
