Institutional Financial Operations, Associate Director/Sr. Associate Director (Fintech)

Location: Onsite at the St. Petersburg, Florida Global HQ; the role may also sit in the New York office.

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 annually at Associate Director level and $140,000–$165,000 annually at Sr. Associate Director level, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage daily SEC Rule 15c3-1 net capital and SEC Rule 15c3-3 reserve calculations.
• Support liquidity management, cash-flow monitoring, funding workflows, clearing, and settlement operations.
• Monitor and resolve clearing cash suspense breaks, reconciliation issues, and brokerage operational exceptions.
• Partner with Finance leadership on liquidity stress testing, capital forecasting, and operational risk analysis.
• Support institutional brokerage buildouts, self-clearing functions, omnibus agreement workflows, and scalable operational infrastructure.
• Work with Operations, Risk, Institutional, Legal, Engineering, developers, and product teams to improve workflows and automate controls.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in broker-dealer financial operations, brokerage accounting, or financial control environments.
• Strong understanding of SEC Rule 15c3-1 and SEC Rule 15c3-3 calculations and their operational impact.
• Experience with a carrying broker-dealer, self-clearing firm, or institutional brokerage environment.
• Hands-on experience with financial clearing operations, suspense management, liquidity workflows, and brokerage financial operations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage operational or institutional infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of brokerage operational flows and transactions moving through finance and general ledger environments.

Nice to have

• Series 27 license, especially for candidates without an accounting degree.
• Experience with self-clearing or omnibus brokerage structures.
• Experience in global broker-dealer or institutional brokerage environments.
• Experience partnering with technology teams on automation, operational tooling, or system buildouts.
• CPA certification.
