TL;DR
Senior Product Manager (K-12 Education): Building foundational platform capabilities for identity and access management, SIS integrations, and reporting across a multi-product education transportation platform with an accent on security, interoperability, and trustworthy data. Focus on defining scalable permission models, API and SFTP integrations, actionable analytics, and coordinating launches with engineering, security, design, and customer success.
Location: United States; remote. Occasional travel to customer sites across the country is required.

What you will do
- Own the roadmap and product strategy for foundational platform capabilities across a multi-product suite.
- Define identity, access, roles, permissions, and RBAC models for administrators and end users.
- Lead SIS integration products using REST APIs and SFTP-based data exchange.
- Define reporting and analytics experiences that provide actionable, trustworthy data for district administrators and transportation directors.
- Lead agile collaboration, prototypes, product launches, post-launch measurement, and iterative improvements.
- Conduct customer research, support go-to-market handoffs, and collaborate with engineering, security, design, customer success, sales, and strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in product management or a related role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of IAM concepts, RBAC, permission modeling, and SOC 2 Trust Service Criteria.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SFTP-based integrations, and data exchange; K-12 SIS experience is a strong plus.
- Experience defining and shipping reporting or data visualization features for non-technical users.
- Strong communication, critical listening, collaboration, consensus-building, web or mobile technology, and Agile development skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with K-12 SIS platforms such as PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, or Skyward.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
