Delivery Director (Freelance)

What you will do

• Lead delivery across a portfolio of complex client engagements, ensuring timely, on-budget, high-quality outcomes.
• Partner with Growth and executive leadership on proposals, new business pursuits, client expansions, scopes of work, staffing plans, timelines, and commercial assumptions.
• Author and support statements of work, lead contract negotiations, and establish new projects for successful delivery.
• Review scopes, staffing plans, forecasts, and timelines to identify risks and create recovery plans.
• Build scalable delivery systems, operational practices, tooling, documentation, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Coach Executive Producers and delivery leaders while guiding complex client situations and operational challenges.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading delivery organizations, PMOs, or production teams in a digital agency, consultancy, or product organization.
• Experience overseeing portfolios of complex digital work rather than individual projects only.
• Strong operational and financial acumen covering forecasting, staffing, utilization, margins, and delivery planning.
• Experience building scalable delivery systems, operational frameworks, and team processes.
• Experience with proposals, scoping, estimating, staffing strategies, client presentations, and new business efforts.
• Excellent judgment, communication, client partnership, and executive-level decision-making skills.
