Junior AI Developer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Mid Valley, Malaysia

What you will do

• Design, build, and improve AI-powered features such as chatbots, intelligent assistants, workflow automation, and AI-enhanced user experiences.
• Translate product requirements into reusable, scalable, and user-friendly software components.
• Integrate AI models, APIs, and backend services into product workflows.
• Test backend APIs and maintain automated tests for key end-to-end product workflows.
• Prototype AI product concepts, evaluate emerging tools, and validate feasibility through experimentation.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers on requirements, technical solutions, launches, and continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong foundation in software engineering, product development, and applied AI.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications, chatbots, assistants, or intelligent workflow tools.
• Programming experience with Python, .NET, or similar technologies.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or equivalent, plus backend API integration.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools, LLMs, AI agent frameworks, automated testing, cloud, DevOps, Git, and Docker.
