Senior AI Engineer

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid work model with onsite work at least 50% of the time

What you will do

• Build and maintain the GRC Brain AI reasoning layer and Agentic Cortex orchestration framework for Compliance in a Box.
• Design and implement a seven-agent architecture covering onboarding, scope, standards mapping, risk quantification, policy analysis, infrastructure auditing, and compliance monitoring.
• Implement human-in-the-loop gates across agent workflows and tune prompts and confidence scoring for Bedrock-hosted models.
• Own the agent evaluation framework, measuring quality, latency, and reliability for production readiness.
• Collaborate with product, security, platform, and other cross-functional teams to deliver feature-complete product functionality by Week 7.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT discipline.
• Demonstrable understanding of AI/ML concepts, including LLMs and agent-based systems.
• Ability to write clean, well-tested code, preferably in Python.
• Strong experience shipping real AI products rather than chatbots.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work onsite at least 50% of the time from commuting distance to a hirify.global office location.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services, especially Amazon Bedrock or similar LLM hosting platforms.
• Familiarity with GRC concepts or cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Experience with agent orchestration libraries such as LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
