Director, Product Marketing (AI)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year, plus quarterly performance bonuses and equity.

What you will do

• Own positioning and messaging for Proton’s multi-product platform.
• Develop go-to-market plans for new products, features, and add-ons in partnership with Product.
• Create sales enablement materials, talk tracks, and collateral.
• Conduct customer conversations, shadow users, and analyze discovery calls to identify buyer needs and refine messaging.
• Track competitive activity and market shifts to strengthen differentiation.
• Partner with Product, CX, Sales, and the CEO, while identifying ways to use AI to scale research and accelerate launches.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS.
• Experience building go-to-market strategies for product features and releases.
• Strong product writing, storytelling, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, take action independently, and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to explain complex products clearly and connect features to customer problems and outcomes.
