Senior Python Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $200,000–$225,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design and build APIs and backend services for AI-driven product experiences.
• Integrate LLMs and ML models into production workflows.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for training, inference, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product to deliver end-to-end features.
• Improve performance, reliability, scalability, observability, and code quality across services.
• Debug complex production issues and drive root-cause resolution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Strong Python proficiency and experience building production-grade systems.
• Experience designing APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Production experience with ML and AI systems, including LLMs, ranking, recommendations, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, data-intensive systems, cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong ownership, product mindset, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
