Senior Software Engineer - C++ Embedded Systems (Autonomous Driving)

What you will do

• Design and develop high-performance C++ software for embedded automotive systems.
• Build infrastructure for HD map downloading, caching, storage, and distribution across vehicle ECUs.
• Develop efficient APIs and communication protocols for map consumers.
• Implement map-based algorithms such as route calculation and lane network generation.
• Optimize software for performance, memory usage, latency, and reliability.
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers while collaborating with algorithm, cloud, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of hands-on experience developing production software in C++.
• Strong understanding of software design and object-oriented programming.
• Experience developing embedded or performance-critical software.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to independently lead complex technical tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with autonomous driving systems, map technologies, GIS, navigation, or routing algorithms.
• Experience with cloud-connected embedded systems.
• Experience with distributed systems or communication protocols.
• Experience optimizing software for CPU, memory, and latency.
