What you will do

• Serve as a technical leader for R&D engineers developing cloud Datacenter packet processors.
• Lead all software development phases, including requirement gathering, architecture, design, implementation, and functional testing.
• Execute complex projects across a highly distributed engineering team.
• Collaborate with Architects, QA/Validation, System Test, Product Management, and customer teams.
• Mentor and train team members to foster technical growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS/ECE with 10-15 years of experience, or Master’s with 5-10 years.
• Extensive technical depth in L2 and L3 Ethernet switching and routing protocols.
• Advanced proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Strong experience in SDK development for Switching/Routing ASICs.
• Hands-on experience architecting scalable Linux-based Embedded products.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).

Nice to have

• Experience with L2 forwarding (LAG, VLAN, xSTP, LLDP, Link OAM, ARP, VxLAN, DC fabric).
• Experience with L3 unicast/multicast routing (RIP, OSPF, IGMP, BGP, ISIS).
• Knowledge of ACL, QoS, Policers, and TCAM.
