Senior Director, Principal Engineer (US)

Base compensation: $180,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead cloud architecture across the organization and translate proven patterns into multi-cloud environments.
• Direct DevOps strategy, improving engineering quality, efficiency, and delivery flow through AI-powered workflows.
• Build AI tooling hands-on and influence engineering teams to adopt low-friction AI-assisted production practices.
• Shape backend architecture and development standards and make key technical decisions for production systems.
• Evolve data engineering across ingestion, transformation, warehousing, storage, and processing.
• Provide people leadership for a matrixed group of DevOps, infrastructure, and data engineering professionals.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in cloud architecture and mastery of at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proven ability to design and reason about multi-cloud environments.
• Strong backend development experience architecting and shipping production systems.
• Broad and deep data engineering knowledge across ingestion, transformation, warehousing, and related tradeoffs.
• DevOps experience focused on measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, and engineering flow.
• Experience leading engineers in matrixed or cross-functional structures where influence is essential.
