Sr Staff Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States

Salary: $145,600–$240,695 per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Lead architecture for complex enterprise ecosystems spanning HCM, payroll, workforce management, ERP, IAM, and adjacent systems.
• Design and deliver production-grade integrations, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Advise customers on agentic AI adoption, including orchestration, decisioning, tool use, and human-in-the-loop systems.
• Translate business problems into scalable architectures combining enterprise systems and AI capabilities.
• Act as a technical advisor to CIO- and CTO-level stakeholders while influencing product direction through field feedback.
• Develop reusable accelerators, templates, reference architectures, and AI patterns; mentor other forward deployed engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or distributed systems.
• Deep experience with enterprise integrations, APIs, event-driven systems, data pipelines, and IAM.
• Strong cloud architecture experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience building production-grade systems in enterprise environments.
• Experience with AI-enabled systems, LLMs, copilots, or automation frameworks, including agentic AI concepts.
• Strong customer-facing and executive communication skills, with the ability to lead ambiguous, high-impact initiatives autonomously.
