Salary: $196,350 - $292,600 USD

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical architect for major AI BU initiatives, owning end-to-end system design.
• Set technical direction and design standards across multiple engineering teams to ensure architectural coherence.
• Author design documents and RFCs to align stakeholders on solutions for ambiguous, cross-cutting technical problems.
• Remain hands-on by writing production code, reviewing high-stakes PRs, and resolving critical engineering bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate business priorities into technical roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers across teams to raise the overall technical quality bar.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven track record as a technical lead or architect on organization-wide initiatives.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Distributed Storage Systems and AI/ML systems.
• Proficiency in agentic engineering using local or frontier models.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Expertise in knowledge graphs, semantics, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Distributed Database Systems.
• Experience training and deploying AI models.
• Knowledge of GPU workloads and accelerated computing infrastructure.
