Vice President, Product Management - Platform (AI)

Location: Remote, US

Base salary: $230,000–$300,000 per year

What you will do

• Define the multi-year strategy and roadmap for shared platform services, including data, identity and security, workflow, APIs, integrations, observability, reporting, and AI.
• Build, lead, and develop a team of platform product managers with clear ownership across service areas.
• Drive APIs, integration frameworks, extensibility, and developer and configuration experiences for customers, systems integrators, partners, and internal product teams.
• Champion performance, scalability, reliability, security, and compliance as product requirements.
• Establish intake, prioritization, and governance for platform capability requests across product lines.
• Lead the consolidation of products onto a common cloud platform and measure adoption, time-to-build, and cross-product outcomes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years leading product management teams.
• Significant experience owning platform, infrastructure, or shared-services products.
• Experience taking a multi-product company onto a common platform through re-platforming, consolidation, or platform-as-a-product initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, data architecture, integration, and extensibility, with the ability to work credibly with architects and engineers.
• Experience in enterprise B2B SaaS and regulated enterprise environments.
• Strong executive presence, cross-functional influence, and data-driven decision-making skills; familiarity with AI-assisted or agentic development workflows and hands-on LLM tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in life sciences or high-tech.
• Experience with revenue management, pricing, CPQ, contracts, channel, or compliance.
• Familiarity with composable or headless architectures, event-driven platforms, or marketplace and ecosystem strategies.
