Mechanical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Beit HaEmek, Northern District, Israel

Development of mechanical, electromechanical, and robotic systems and devices.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement mechanical and electromechanical mechanisms.
• Develop enclosures and packaging for electro-mechanical systems.
• Support production while meeting deadlines, quality requirements, and cost targets.
• Collaborate with hardware, electronics, and software design teams.
• Coordinate with outsourced validation and manufacturing partners to deliver systems and devices to specification.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Proven CAD experience and proficiency with SolidWorks.
• Experience taking mechanical designs from concept through detailed design and transfer to high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of accurate milling, metal casting, 3D printing, and sheet-metal manufacturing.
• Experience composing reports, performing static analysis and calculations, and planning and implementing ECOs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics, linear motion systems, or electrical component selection, including servo motors, stepper motors, and proximity sensors.
• Experience designing injection-molded plastic, rotational-molding, and vacuum-forming parts.
• Experience with PDM environments.
• At least two years of startup experience.
