Senior Software Engineer (Provider)

Location: Greater Toronto Area; hybrid, with two days per week in the Toronto office and the remaining time remote.

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 CAD annually, depending on experience and expertise.

What you will do

• Own the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of full-stack provider solutions.
• Design and implement integrations connecting provider systems to hirify.global.
• Build workflow automation that reduces manual effort for healthcare provider partners.
• Improve patient flow and quality of care through shipped product features.
• Manage production services, including observability, monitoring, incident response, and resolution.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders while maintaining ownership of multiple deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a full-stack skill set.
• Experience with Go, Angular, TypeScript, C#, and MySQL.
• Experience building scalable, reliable integrations and customer-facing applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, microservices architecture, and production-scale user interfaces.
• Experience owning production services end-to-end.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Fluent daily use of AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Copilot.
