Software Development Engineer II (Fullstack)

Location: Burnaby, BC, Canada; in-office at least 50% of the time monthly, typically three days per week

Salary: CAD 124,000–155,000 per year, plus equity and additional compensation components.

What you will do

• Build and expand a next-generation Customer Success platform for agents and customers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable software solutions.
• Design responsive user interfaces and full-stack solutions using TypeScript, React, Java/Kotlin, and Go.
• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI applications for inbound customer contact handling and back-office automation.
• Review code, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve application reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on frontend web applications.
• Professional experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, or Go.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.

Nice to have

• Experience or exposure to AI engineering applications.
