Principal Solutions Engineer (Infrastructure Technology)

Location: Remote in the United States or hybrid in Westminster, Colorado; 25% travel required.

Salary: $143,300–$202,200 annual base salary; approximately $200,000 OTE with salary and variable compensation. Commission eligible.

What you will do

• Lead engagements with public-sector owners to implement connected workflows across civil design, surveying, construction, and asset management.
• Advise infrastructure agencies on aligning digital tools with business needs and maintaining data continuity across Autodesk, Bentley, and ESRI systems.
• Design and document scalable technical solutions, including API integration strategies and platform sustainability models.
• Represent the organization at industry events and conferences focused on asset lifecycle management and infrastructure technology.
• Create demonstration content and training materials for internal teams and global partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in civil construction, design, or infrastructure technology.
• Deep understanding of capital project delivery and complex infrastructure workflows.
• Experience with CDE platforms such as hirify.global Connect or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into technical workflows and ROI-driven solutions.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders and government agencies.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with Department of Transportation agencies or large-scale government infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with IFC/open BIM standards, ESRI data integration, and middleware solutions.
• Experience scoping software development, planning implementations, and enabling cross-functional teams.
