Principal Solutions Architect (Public Sector Federal)

Location: Hybrid; available location is Washington, D.C. Travel up to 40% per quarter may be required. An in-person interview may be required at a hirify.global office or hub at the offer stage.

Salary: $257,000–$314,000 annual salary for Washington, D.C.-based hires. The role is also eligible for equity participation.

What you will do

• Define tailored technology visions and multi-year innovation roadmaps with government and education customers.
• Identify, scope, and guide migrations from incumbent edge cloud and on-premises technologies to hirify.global solutions.
• Build long-term technical relationships with strategic accounts and support the design, proof, and adoption of hirify.global within critical infrastructure.
• Lead strategic conversations with CIOs, CISOs, agency executives, and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with specialists, architects, and subject-matter experts throughout account planning, solution design, and engagement delivery.
• Support Business Value Assessments and contribute public-sector expertise to go-to-market strategy and platform evolution.

Requirements

• 15+ years of technical sales, engineering, and/or direct industry experience.
• Experience building trust and maintaining relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of business strategy, technology, risk management, and public-sector modernization.
• Knowledge of government and industry standards, frameworks, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, PCI, SOX, FedRAMP, GDPR, and NIS2.
• Experience designing cloud, edge, and on-premises architectures, migrations, and implementations.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Washington, D.C., with up to 40% quarterly travel.
