Solutions Architect

Location: Remote within the United States; applications are currently accepted from California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Bridge the Government Partnerships team with Product and Engineering by translating state partners’ needs into structured requirements and product recommendations.
• Prepare materials, present product capabilities, and answer technical questions from state partners, including SNAP agencies.
• Own state campaign delivery end to end, including scope-of-work definition, campaign infrastructure setup, configuration, monitoring, evaluation, and issue resolution.
• Use AI enablement to increase leverage in partnership work and reduce reliance on engineering support.
• Make hands-on decisions about when state needs require new product investment versus configuration of existing capabilities.
• Synthesize patterns across engagements and provide evidence-based recommendations for the case management product roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience bridging product or technical teams with external partners through solutions architecture, implementation, delivery leadership, technical program management, or product management in a B2G context.
• Direct experience working in or selling to state SNAP or Medicaid agencies.
• Technical fluency with APIs, technical documentation, integrations, and first-draft complexity and scope estimates.
• Familiarity with SNAP, Medicaid, EBT, benefits administration, or adjacent public-benefits programs.
• Strong product judgment, communication, writing, presentation, and data-analysis skills, including enough SQL and analytics fluency to evaluate campaign impact.
• Ability to work hands-on across partner meetings, technical scoping, campaign configuration, program evaluation, and statements of work.

Nice to have

• Experience with case management systems, benefits administration technology, or health plan operations.
• Previous experience as an engineer or technical product manager.
• Experience defining program success metrics, measurement frameworks, and evaluation results for government stakeholders.
