Senior Data Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Formulate and solve optimization problems for portfolio prioritization, investment and resource allocation, and capacity planning.
• Build Monte Carlo and discrete-event simulation models to stress-test portfolio plans, quantify risk and uncertainty, and forecast outcomes.
• Develop, test, and refine predictive models for delivery timelines, portfolio outcomes, and investment performance.
• Design Model Context Protocol interfaces that expose optimization, simulation, and predictive capabilities to hirify.global Anvi and other AI agents.
• Translate customer challenges into data-driven product enhancements and contribute to data collection and analysis.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying data science, optimization, or simulation solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with familiarity with pandas and scikit-learn.
• Experience with optimization or simulation methods, including linear or integer programming, heuristics, Monte Carlo, or discrete-event simulation.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical methodologies.
• Ability to lead technical projects, mentor others, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Nice to have

• Experience with portfolio management and planning frameworks such as SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, Agile, or Waterfall.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Athena, SageMaker, Lambda, or Bedrock.
• Experience with optimization solvers, simulation libraries, large language models, agent frameworks, MCP, knowledge graphs, or ontologies.
