TL;DR

Associate Data Scientist (AI/ML): Developing and deploying ML/AI solutions for Home Services partners with an accent on building reliable production code and customized client deliverables. Location: Hybrid: Must be based in South Charlotte, NC (Tues-Thu onsite, Mon/Fri remote)

Salary: $100,000 – $115,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and deploy production-ready ML/AI solutions with a focus on reliable, well-tested code.
• Manage the full data lifecycle from extraction and cleaning to model building and impact tracking.
• Customize platform-level solutions for individual clients and partners.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate business problems into scoped data science tasks.
• Communicate technical results and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming to maintain development standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a quantitative field or Bachelor's with 1-2 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Foundational knowledge of classification, regression, and clustering techniques.
• Experience with Generative AI tools (e.g., Langchain, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Cursor).
• Familiarity with MLOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• No visa sponsorship or transfer available (H1-B, F-1, OPT, etc.) and no corp-to-corp.

Nice to have

• Prior internship, research, or project experience applying ML to real-world problems.
• Experience with Databricks or AWS cloud platforms.
