Senior Product Manager, Data Management

Location: Santa Clara, California; primarily in-office work is expected from the Santa Clara office.

Annual base salary: $180,000–$270,000 USD, with potential incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Own one or more data management products or product areas from discovery and requirements through prioritization, release, and post-launch iteration.
• Lead customer discovery through interviews, design partner programs, and on-site sessions, translating findings into prioritized product requirements.
• Represent product in customer meetings, technical deep dives, prospect calls, and partner reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, GTM, customer success, and support to deliver features, enablement materials, documentation, and feedback loops.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and executive readouts, communicating technical progress to leadership and customers.
• Build in-product reports and exports compatible with third-party BI and data lake technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience shipping software products end to end.
• Strong technical foundation in data security, data governance, data cataloging or lineage, classification, data engineering, data science, or AI/genAI applied to data.
• Hands-on familiarity with dashboarding and reporting products such as Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
• Ability to engage credibly with engineers on architecture and trade-offs and with customers on technical topics while maintaining business context.
• Ability to work from the Santa Clara office in accordance with company policies.
