Trading Operations Engineer (Python/Linux)

Location: New York, United States; onsite role

Annual base salary: $225,000–$250,000 USD, plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Serve as the first point of contact for traders using trading systems.
• Install, configure, and monitor critical trading applications.
• Manage incidents through a ticketing system and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with developers on operational processes supporting trading applications.
• Provide technical operations support for US- and UK-based trading desks.
• Complete light coding tasks in collaboration with development staff.

Requirements

• Experience with Python, Bash, and MySQL on Linux.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work from the New York location.
