Automation General Manager (Robotics)

Location: Cullman, Alabama, United States; onsite

Salary: $103,750–$148,500 base annually, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day automation operations and production management at a customer distribution center.
• Assess performance, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Own the site operating plan, customer financial commitments, and operational execution.
• Monitor and report performance to customers and cross-functional internal teams.
• Maintain quality standards, resolve operational issues, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and develop the site operations team while promoting safety and operational discipline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, industrial automation, business administration, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of functional management and direct supervisory experience.
• At least 5 years of direct leadership experience in an operations environment.
• Experience in logistics, material management, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of operational metrics, performance management, budgeting, and financial management.
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility for overtime and travel, including up to 60% travel during onboarding and training.

• Regular work involves stairs, elevated structures, restrictive areas, and heights of up to 45 feet.
• Work may involve temperatures from 32°F to 105°F and lifting items up to 50 pounds, with movement of items up to 80 pounds.
