Nurse Practitioner

Location: Remote within the United States only. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; international work is prohibited. Vida cannot sponsor work visas, and candidates must reside in or be able to work from a state where Vida is registered.

Salary: $70–$75 per hour

What you will do

• Provide virtual diagnosis, outpatient treatment, prescribing, and medication management for obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, COPD, and diabetes.
• Create, monitor, and adjust treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines, statutes, regulations, and protocols.
• Order laboratory tests, interpret results, and educate patients about medications, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
• Conduct patient follow-up, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure high-quality clinical documentation.
• Use remote monitoring protocols to contact members, prescribe rescue medications when needed, and direct patients to community or emergency services.
• Refer higher-acuity patients to specialized care in partnership with physicians.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted nurse practitioner license in 10 or more U.S. states, ideally including Pennsylvania, California, New York, Texas, Florida, Maryland, and Virginia.
• Board certification.
• Experience working with patients, clients, and clinical providers in an integrated care setting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, leadership, conflict management, and team-building skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and accountability for defined objectives.
• Experience with digital technology, general computer systems, and electronic medical record systems.

Nice to have

• Experience treating congestive heart failure, COPD, diabetes, and obesity.
• Experience with quality assurance and quality improvement practices.
• Experience working in a rapidly changing startup environment.
