Director, Finance - Webull Pay (Crypto)

Location: Onsite at the Global HQ in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States

Salary: $165,000–$205,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Lead accounting, finance, treasury, tax, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Oversee state Money Transmitter License reports, call reports, regulatory filings, and U.S. GAAP financial statements.
• Establish controls for the custody, segregation, reconciliation, and safeguarding of customer fiat and digital assets.
• Manage financial close processes, accounting policies, internal controls, audits, and SOX readiness.
• Oversee banking relationships, payment infrastructure, liquidity, reserves, capital adequacy, and cryptocurrency treasury operations.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Technology teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of accounting experience or senior finance leadership experience within a regulated crypto financial services organization.
• Experience with cryptocurrency, digital assets, fintech, payments, broker-dealers, banking, or other regulated financial institutions.
• Experience preparing state MTL call reports, regulatory financial filings, and financial reporting for regulated entities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting standards, internal controls, and annual financial statement audits.
• Ability to lead finance organizations through growth and regulatory change.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with licensed cryptocurrency exchanges or digital asset custodians.
• Knowledge of customer asset segregation, stablecoins, blockchain settlement, and digital asset accounting.
